The indoor pool was a big hit with the kids.
The restaurant was closed, only an over-priced buffet was available.

No complaints whatsoever, enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will choose it for sure next trip. Everything was great, magnificent location to a beautiful castle, the staff were superbly friendly! The breakfast was varied and satisfactory for all tastes, with brilliant food. Friendly service was provided here. What's more, there's parking outside.

Luxury hotel set in parkland some 15 to 20 min walk from the town centre. Bus service outside the hotel every 15 min. Large spacious rooms very well appointed. Excellent hot & cold buffet breakfast. On site secure underground parking available if required and at 12 euros/day not expensive given the very reasonable room rate. Overall, superb hotel and would certainly revisit.

Fabulous location opposite Ilm park (River Ilm runs through it and Goethe's lovely little garden house is well worth a visit). It was nice to walk through this delightful meadow-like park each day to get to the town of Weimar. Also on the way into town are the Bauhaus university and the historic cemetery. There is also a regular bus service to/from town/station. Bikes were available to rent and the park is perfect for cycling therefore a pity the hotel did not have child-sized bikes. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were excellent as was the breakfast. It is a fairly modern hotel (built in 1986) and usually I prefer to go for something older with more charm but I would definitely stay here on a repeat visit.

The hotel had a friendly atmosphere despite its size and the large number of guests, with exceptionally helpful staff on the front desk. Both breakfast and dinner were good. The siting of the hotel seemed inconvenient at the time of arrival by taxi from the train station, but with use of a Weimar card & the no.1 bus, further taxis were uneccessary, and the hotel in fact offered a peaceful refuge from the city after a busy day of sight-seeing. The proximity of the hotel to the park was especially welcome. I would be happy to stay in a Leonardo hotel in another city.
